Kevin and I went to Disneyland on April 9th (which happened to be our 11 month anniversary) and he invited my sisters and one of my sister's boyfriends to join. When we got to Disneyland that morning, he asked if I wanted to have one of those caricature paintings done since it was our first time there together. I thought I'd be fun and cute so I agreed. Little did I know, he had coordinated with my sister's boyfriend and had him go talk to the paint artist to let her know that we were on our way and that Kevin was going to propose through the painting. So we walked to Kevin's favorite spot in Disneyland - the New Orleans area - and found a "random" artist and had our painting done. When the artist turned the painting around, the painting had Kevin drawn on one knee with the "will you marry me?" question written out. When I turned over to look at Kevin he was on one knee with the ring, by that time there was huge crowd that had gathered and everyone cheered as I wrote in my answer on the painting. It was all so magical! I had no idea that he was proposing on that trip, but it was truly perfect!
